I have been bike touring for more than 30 years, and it all started… accidentally. In 1991, a friend and I rented bicycles in Amsterdam and soon found ourselves pedaling away from the bustle of the city, into the picture-perfect Dutch countryside. The feeling of freedom and discovery was addictive, and bicycle touring has become a lifelong passion. Along the way, I’ve met plenty of likeminded individuals with fascinating stories to tell. By creating and hosting this podcast, I hope to bring their stories to a broader audience and inspire those considering a bicycle tour to get out and see where the road will lead them.
